The "Not So Big" New Urbanism - Keynote Address

Builder Magazine has identified Sarah Susanka and Andrés Duany among the top 50 most influential people in the home building industry today. Sarah and Andrés will take the stage together to present an inspiring view of the future of sustainable planning and architecture. This dynamic duo integrates the macro and the micro of sustainable planning and architecture; what Andrés brings to community design, Sarah champions for the home. Sarah Susanka, America's leading residential architect, cultural visionary, and author of The Not So Big House series is redefining the American home.

Andrés Duany, famed architect and planner, is noted for his people-oriented design of over 140 neighborhoods, towns and cities including the notable city of Seaside, Florida. Andrés coined the term “new urbanism,” and is the author of Suburban Nation: The Rise of Sprawl and the Decline of the American Dream. The presentation will be followed by a book signing in the lobby.
